Our highly regarded Waters Team services and maintains Nelson’s reticulation network.

The role involves every aspect of operation and maintenance of the water supply network, ensuring that it is fully functioning and continuously delivering quality water to homes and businesses. You must have a good level of physical fitness as some manual labouring will be required.

Desired Skills and Experience

Suitable applicants will:

• Have had some exposure to civil work
• Be able to drive manual vehicles – Class 2 Licence (preferred)
• Know how to operate machinery such as excavators and a variety of power tools – ideally pavement breakers or concrete saws
• Have a high level of focus for Health and Safety awareness and application
• Have a positive attitude, self-motivation and perseverance
