The Nelnet Bank marketing team is looking for an intern to assist in the development of our extended social media and influencer strategy. Nelnet Bank marketing leads all marketing operations for the bank, including managing all social platforms. We are looking for an intern who understands fundamental marketing concepts, digital marketing, and social media marketing and is hungry to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in the ideation of possible strategies to connect with the bank audience.

• Identify ongoing and incoming Gen Z trends on social media.

• Assist in the brainstorming of content according to popular trends.

• Assist with the preparation and delivery of marketing materials.

• Perform assessment of current and upcoming industry trends.

• Assist in project management and completion.

• Track and collect performance metrics.

• Prepare slide deck presentations.

• Identify up and coming “influencers” that connect with Gen Z and Millennial demographics.

• Work on passion project per management approval and supervision.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Driven and hard-working.

• Ability to take direction and feedback and we evolve.

• Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
