Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong skills with Microsoft Office, and someone who takes pride in their work. This is a full-time position that is hybrid remote and flexible. Half the work week would be done remotely and the other half in the office. You will achieve success in this role with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical aptitude and knowledge of principles and practices of business administration; computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software.

This position will require you to suggest and take actions to improve data quality and accuracy; turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions to support the ongoing service operations business unit; analyze business procedures and recommend specific types of data that can be used to improve upon them.

Duties

  • Identify and recommend improvements to current processes, with a focus on deficiencies, data quality issues (tasks, COD enhancement, Zmonitor) and incorrect statuses (contact profile, deferred cost).
  • Collaborate with Services team members to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and create insightful Power BI reports/dashboards using available datasets
  • Analyze data trends and business procedures in order to make appropriate recommendations, present results/finding to stakeholders, and ultimately drive operational change.
  • Make corrections to orders, Bill of Material (BOM), customer charges, and installer pay.
  • Identify and analyze business/application/reporting problems and their impacts as well as working to provide optimal function and technical solutions.
  • Support the configuration of Electronic Work Order (EWO) application, Online Booking System (OBS), and customer portal (Neptune Connect). Triage and resolve Help Desk tickets for application related issues and change requests as needed.
  • Support assigned project coordination/administration activities as needed.
  • Contribute to the design and testing of new application/software/reporting capabilities to ensure application/software/reporting satisfies functional requirements 8u
  • Support the development of new processes to further refine data capture and accuracy through Neptune’s Electronic Work Order (EWO) system.
  • Proactively identifying areas of improvement

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of Business Analytics or related experience
  • Proven ability to use business analysis tools for data management, research, analysis, visualization, and reporting purposes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience to build and manage Power BI reports using available dataset
  • Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5pm)
  • Detail-oriented and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically
  • Interest in understanding and improving systems and business processes
  • Experience with SAP/ERPs an asset
