Objectives:
The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and undergo a post-offer screening for pre-existing medical conditions or injuries performed by an appropriately certified medical service provider. Must meet the WorkKeys minimum score requirement in the following areas to be eligible. 3 Applied Math, 3 Workplace Documents 3 Graphic Literacy.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Perform a minimum of 4 jobs in the ARB department. Of these 4 jobs, 1 of the jobs should come from the Menziken line jobs, Automatic Operator or the P.A.M. back-up operator and the other 3 will be agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.
2. Perform various operations to assemble component parts such as gear and pinion assemblies, crystals, gaskets odometers, etc.
3. Select parts and utilize necessary checks, detect defective material and initiate corrective action.
4. Operate equipment to perform various assembly operations.
5. Maintain necessary parts level in equipment to ensure equipment productivity.
6. Make machine adjustments to compensate for parts variation and to facilitate machine start-ups.
7. Make necessary product inspections, utilizing gages and/or visual inspection. Detect faulty operation and report questionable conditions to technician or supervisor.
8. Responsibility for care and maintenance of equipment as prescribed.
9. Participate in physical inventory.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
11. Must maintain annual ESD certification.
