Nestlé Looking for Production Line Leader at Marton, Wanganui-Manawatu, New Zealand Full Time

Positon Summary

We are looking for a number of Line Leaders to join our Production team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

As a Line Leader your responsibilities will include:

• Playing a key role in ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Ensuring the production plan is met along with our exacting quality standards.
• Ensuring optimization of modern, high speed, automated machinery by planning and checking on routine preventative maintenance, ensuring breakdowns and repairs are completed in a timely manner
• Rostering your team on a day-to-day basis.
• Tracking line performance data and driving improvement.
• Tracking material consumption ensuring traceability.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting to reduce defects.
• Ensuring Process Operators and Technical Operators have the required skills and competencies.
• Supporting machinery changeovers to produce a range of pack sizes and products.
• Working together with a small team to deliver planned production quantities.

Are you a Fit?

To be successful in this role you must:

• Be reliable and trustworthy with an outstanding attitude.
• 1+ years’ experience as a Team Leader or similar role in FMCG manufacturing.
• Take pride in your work environment to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Have intermediate computer skills and be a fast learner.
• Be great at communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving.
• Experience with TPM or continuous improvement practices.

Previous experience in SAP is advantageous but not necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
