The Role

Our Barista’s are fantastic multitaskers whose constant workflow of friendly greetings, coffee and tea making, resetting, wiping, and polishing provides a seamless experience for our Members and Guests. Barista’s adhere to the Sequence of Service set by the Reunion Leadership team, consistently working to offer professional service in a timely manner whilst understanding all aspects of the coffee, tea and beverage program. Our Barista’s represent the Reunion with hospitality, warmth, and grace in every interaction. Reunion Barista’s provide operational support to ensure that service excellence is delivered to all Members and Guests.

Requirements

• 2 + years acting as a Barista or similar role in luxury hospitality, food + beverage environments
• Consistently provide thoughtful and personal service with the goal to develop a rapport with Members and Guests
• Ensure the coffee area is set and ready for service and always kept tidy manner as it is guest facing
• Maintain cleanliness and always restock equipment as needed
• Maintain thorough working knowledge of coffee and tea menus and be able to articulate to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner
• Proficient use of POS for ordering and billing purposes
• Cash handling and communication skills with management executed with the utmost professionalism
• Execution of the order of service in a timely and accurate manner with the goal of creating memorable service
• Thorough working knowledge of all beverages: coffee/tea/non-alcoholic/wines/beers/spirits
• Communicating with servers on orders to ensure delivery of drinks in a timely manner and alerting Management when running low on a particular item
• Impeccable customer service by responding promptly to member/guest needs, soliciting feedback to improve service, and responding to all member requests (not just F&B related)
• Competency in conversing with Reunion members, Guests, and potential Members regarding Fotografiska and our various programs and amenities
• Set up / breakdown of the coffee station on a daily level.  
• Must be able to lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs
• Able to work nights and weekends which will be required with this role

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $20.00 an hour.
