Clerical Position for ESU

New Alternatives, Inc. is a private nonprofit agency that provides a wide range of services to children, youth and families in San Diego County. Services include residential, outpatient, day treatment and in home support services.

The Emergency Screening Unit (ESU) in Hillcrest is actively looking for energetic front desk support. ESU is a medi-cal funded program that provides assessment and screening services to youth either on a 5150 or voluntarily. The clerical/front desk support is the first encounter many youth and families have with our program and are often in crisis for that first encounter. ESU is looking to hire compassionate and empathetic individuals with positive energy to manage phones, greet families, effectively communicate with RNs and other nursing staff, and provide support to families in processing paperwork.

Full time and part time opportunities. We are a 24/7 facility, which means we require 24/7 clerical coverage as well. Currently, we are hoping to fill a position with mixed AM (2 weekdays) and PM shifts (Sat & Sun), 32 hours per week. Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
