New Plymouth District Council Looking for Field Staff Horticulture at New Plymouth Full Time
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Field Staff – Horticulture. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the delivery of the work programme/schedule for horticulture activities across New Plymouths picturesque parks and gardens.
We are looking for someone who will:
Ensure all health and safety directions/instructions are followed.
Carry out horticulture work as scheduled/directed.
Engage with the public and provide a quality customer service.
Utilises resources effectively.
Work collaboratively with others to enhance and/or develop team performance.
You will have experience in horticulture and a mechanical aptitude, while placing importance on health and safety practices. You’ll also have a clean driver’s license and the physical capability associated with the nature of this type of work.
