You will be the point of contact for Workplace Training, managing our shared email boxes responding to incoming emails and will be responsible for the planning and coordinating training and development programmes. You will arrange logistics for course including; catering, travel and accommodation and providing administrative support to facilitators. You will also play a key role supporting course evaluative and reporting processes to ensure return on investment (ROI) for our training programmes including using our Learning Management System.
There is also an aspect of pastoral care in this role as you will be the point of contact for queries enabling new trainees to feel welcome as they start their journey with Customs.

Due to the nature of Customs, the successful applicants must have a clear Police record and pass a drug test. You will need to obtain and maintain an Organisational level security clearance. In order to obtain this clearance, you need to be a New Zealand Citizen or New Zealand Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in New Zealand for the last 5 years and resides in NZ at time of application.
