Based

at Christchurch Hospital, our Otolaryngology Department receives acute and

arranged referrals. We cater to all age groups from neonates to the elderly and

have specialty clinics that include Otology, Head & Neck Oncology, Sleep

disorders, Paediatric airway and Voice clinics that are all supported by a

range of health professionals including the ORL Head & Neck Nurse

Specialist.

We

are a supportive, inclusive and tolerant team, looking for a team-orientated Booking

Co-ordinator to join our outstanding Administration kapa (Team). The role

offers you meaningful mahi (work) with a lot of personal satisfaction knowing that you

are making a difference and helping your community every day.

In

this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing administrative duties * Arrange surgical tūroro (patient) bookings for the department * Coordinate tūroro (patient) treatment schedules * Managing the tūroro (patient) waitlist * Communicating with tūroro (patient) and whānau * Manage the patient management system (SI PICS; scOPe, HCS) * Addressing enquiries and requests from both internal and external

stakeholders * Diary and email management (Outlook) * Coding and data entryKo wai koe | About You

This role would suit someone who is resilient, proactive and takes initiative. Ideally you should have administration and customer service experience. This role is tūroro (patient) facing and therefore we are looking for someone who is able to manage difficult situations and tāngata (people).
