The Business and Consumer branch plays a unique role in supporting the market through the provision of tools, resources and advice so that New Zealand businesses can grow and thrive. It ensures that all market participants are well informed, adequately protected and that trading is fair.

Working within a close-knit cohort of Team Coordinators, you will provide proactive and timely administrative support across the branch. Supporting several managers, you will complete a wide variety of tasks where no two days will be the same. Day to day you will:

• Provide administrative support to the managers and teams in the branch. * Coordinate regular reporting. * Organise stakeholder meetings from venue coordination to minute taking. * Be the go-to person for corporate MBIE policies and processes. * Liaise and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a ‘can-do attitude’. In addition, you’ll be a team player who is passionate about helping New Zealand small businesses succeed and has the ability to relate to a wide variety of people in different situations.
