New Zealand Government Looking for Transport Coordinator at Manawatu District, Manawatu-Wanganui Full Time

• Scheduling the servicing and maintenance requirements for each vehicle;
• Maintaining current reports/registers on excel spreadsheets and databases in a range of areas such as fuel, vehicle loans and vehicle usage;
• Completing all vehicle compliance documentation;
• Coordinating internal (unit) transportation requirements;
• Receiving accident reports and maintaining an accurate and updated vehicle incident register; and
• Keeping the wider team informed of scheduling requirements through an updated Taskboard.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience

Along with being an experienced administrator/coordinator who has a broad knowledge of light to heavy vehicle servicing and maintenance requirements, you will also bring the following:

• Vehicle administration and /or fleet management experience;
• Strong level of computer literacy within the MS Office Suite, especially with excel spread sheeting;
• Experience maintaining content on shared databases/ SharePoint; and
• A Full, clean drivers’ licence, additional licences or endorsements would be welcomed.

• is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
