NZME Bay of Plenty is looking for a high-performing, digitally-focused journalist to hunt down leads, tackle big stories and deliver high-quality, relentlessly interesting journalism for our various platforms – including nzherald.co.nz.
But there’s more to this role. We’re also looking for someone who can demonstrate they have leadership and editing skills to step up when needed to lead a news team, commission fantastic story pitches and put together interesting news agendas for the Bay of Plenty Times and Rotorua Daily Post.
A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team are vital.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that provides variety and job satisfaction – and is based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, either in Tauranga or Rotorua.
