Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
Coronial Services are currently looking for a Rotorua-based Administration Support Officer. This is ideally a full-time position, however, we can discuss part time options (minimum of 24 hours per week).
You will be working in a fast-changing environment that will require a high level of agility and resiliency.
You will have strong interpersonal skills that will support your work with the Coronial Case Managers and the Coroners, but also be capable of dealing with distraught family members in sensitive circumstances. An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
You will be expected to provide excellent and highly-organised administrative support to Case Managers and our Coroners. You will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
On occasion, there will be a requirement to work additional hours with advance notice given so some flexibility in availability is required for this role.

As travel may be required from time to time, you must be able to travel, sometimes at short notice. You will need to hold a full New Zealand Drivers’ Licence.
This is a challenging role that will allow you to utilise your empathy, administrative experience, people and relationship management skills to a high level and be part of the team that provides New Zealanders with a first-class Coronial Service.

Salary Range per annum: The remuneration band for this role is $48,184 to $56,136 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
