The Ministry of Justice provides administrative support to the Coroners of New Zealand.
We are a small team which providers a 24/7 service on behalf of Coronial Services. As part of this team you will be the first point of contact to answer inbound enquiries. You will accurately and calmly identify the needs of your caller to ensure the appropriate response and action is taken using your knowledge and experience. You will be utilising your customer service skills and at other times you may be processing a range of administrative tasks associated with the management of matters notified to the Coroner. You will be a key link between the Coroner and other relevant parties and the file management systems to ensure everyone has access to the information required to maintain a highly effective and service minded service.
You will need to be available to work across all shifts, 07:00 to 15:30; 15:30 to 00:00; and 23:00 to 07:30 as an example and be available to work public holidays, weekends and weekdays. We can offer working from the office based at Ellerslie where we have staff parking available and the possibility of some home base working. There is a possibility of working from home at a location other than Auckland if it is close to one of the Coronial Service Units based around New Zealand.

Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be betweeen $50,128 and 70,768 based on skills and experience.
