Van Driver/Storeperson

Permanent Part- Time (20 hours/ week) – Palmerston North

About The Role – Kōrero Mō Te Tūranga

In this role you will:

• Complete the daily drivers’ run sheet in a professional and timely manner.
• Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.
• Provide great customer service.
• Ensure the timely delivery of stock for all shops, as required.
• Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.
• Check the vehicle you are driving is compliant and road worthy.
• Keeping NZRC informed of any issues promptly.
• Following NZRC heath safety and wellbeing guidelines.
• Assist with work in the shops as required.

Who are we looking for? – Mā‎ wai te mahi nei?

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver’s license.
• Experience with driving: a background in driving as a courier, truck driver, buses or similar would be helpful.
• Experience in building or repair/maintenance work.
• Good physical strength – there will be heavy lifting involved in this role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Are able to mix and work with a wide range of people.
