Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for conducting financial modelling of new business opportunities and commercial proposals.
This will include providing financial support and communication to New Zealand Rugby Commercial (NZRC) for new sponsor acquisition, licensing, joint ventures, start-ups and other business development initiatives, including strategic planning and overseeing assigned projects.
You will be involved in supporting the development of the Financial Strategy for the NZRC group. You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) that will assist you in presenting to our Executive teams on financial scenarios and plans to assist them in making sound investment decisions and progressing strategtic initiatives. You will have sound knowledge and strong expertise in financial modelling and analysis, as well as financial reporting.
Alongside the above, you will bring a relevant university degree, be a Chartered Accountant, and have a solid understanding of the commercial environment. You will have experience in working across a range of stakeholders, budget monitoring, project costing as well as data analysis skills.
