Newtown Union Health Service is an established primary health service enabling affordable, accessible, and sustainable health care within the Eastern and Southern suburbs of Wellington. Newtown Union Health Centre has a patient population of 7,500 and is committed to providing equitable care for all our patients. 

We are seeking Registered Nurses passionate about delivering clinics to improve health outcomes.

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for establishing a partnership with whanau through clinical assessment, intervention, care planning and education in the community clinic setting. 

This is a highly rewarding role, especially for an individual ready to make a positive impact in a not-for-profit, community health environment.  You will work collaboratively with a supportive and passionate team from any one of our Newtown, Broadway, or Massey University sites.

• You are a natural relationship builder who understands the challenges of working with a diverse population. 
• You demonstrate a can-do attitude and a passion for providing care to people from diverse backgrounds.
• You have a strong interest in community health.  

You will have the following:

• a current annual practicing certificate and CPR certificate
• the desire to work positively with our wider community.
• a strong commitment to learning and professional development
• experience is preferred but not essential.
