Inventory Improvement Coordinator – Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, our Inventory Improvement Coordinators are pivotal to the cost-effective care and caring of our patients by ensuring smooth operations of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing warehouses and departmental supply issues by coordinating all many aspects of inventory control. The Inventory Improvement Coordinator assists with the design of inventory practices, including the use of existing and new reports, management of back-ordered products, set-up of new locations and workflows for continuous improvement. They also manage the process between sourcing, site administration, and procedural areas to ensure smooth set up of new products and product conversions.

Preferred Criteria

• Data analysis and report preparation experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Experience with Lawson

Required Criteria

• Minimum 1year previous inventory experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer proficiency with knowledge of Windows-based application
• High School Diploma / GED
