(Remote, Full-Time, Short-Term)NexGen is currently seeking a Drupal Developer to performdevelopment/maintenance of both current and future Drupal applicationswritten using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) technology stack.The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, creative, highly motivated, andgoal-oriented team player with 6+ years of Drupal development experiencewithin the LAMP stack, strong knowledge of MySQL databases, and workingknowledge of the Linux platform.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Establish websites (to include theming), utilizing unified architectureand design, in a cloud environmentMigrate content from previous version(s) of websitesDrupal troubleshooting, user administration, development tasks, supportrequests, and CMS add-onsAccurately and effectively communicate with the Project Manager and/or TeamLead the level of effort to implement proposed solutions, the status ofon-going work, and any potential issues.Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with littleor no supervision.Possess excellent time management skills in handling multiple priorities withindividual deadlines.Adapt to a rapidly changing environment and work creatively with minimalsupervision.Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Other duties may be assigned.Expert level knowledge of Drupal development, Drupal system maintenanceExpert-level PHP programming experienceStrong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, and DOMMinimum 5 years of experience in design, development, and support of Webdevelopment in Drupal.5 + years of experience in complete life cycle of design, development,deployment, and support of a web application.Working knowledge of Linux, MySQLDeveloping/enhancing Drupal ModulesKnowledge of Drupal multisite configuration and ability to work with sitesusing this configuration.Other tasks may be assigned.Required Skills/Experience:Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts and ability to write andtroubleshoot complex SQL queriesStrong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills and should bea team player.Ability to pass background screening prior to employment.US Citizenship or work-authorization with alien registration number.Desired Skills:Acquia CertificationExperience with Open Public distributionEOEHourly Rate: $35-55/hour (DOE)(Last revision: 2022-10-13)EEO Employer
