You will be the first point of contact for patients therefore it is essential that you are a good communicator with excellent telephone & interpersonal skills.
Duties include dealing with patient enquiries, processing prescriptions, computerised filing, organising appointments as well as general office/administration tasks and assisting with all office cover during holidays and sickness.
Good IT skills and confident in the use of word & Excel is essential as is good and precise attention to detail in all aspects of the role. Confidence in multi-tasking with the ability to use your own initiative, work as part of a team and work under pressure is also important. Previous office experience is desirable.
