We are delighted to share that an exciting opportunity has become available for a part time, permanent Practice Education Facilitator (Band 6) within the Division of Medicine and Division of Unscheduled Care. We welcome applications for this 18.75 hour a week post to join our Practice Education Team.
The role will provide specialist support to enable heath care practitioners, learners and teams to ensure the delivery of first-class education and work-based learning across NHS Grampian. This role will ensure strong collaborative working relationships with Higher and Further Education Institutes and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and will require leadership skills as well as professional and clinical credibility.
Applicants will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and,
- ideally educated to degree level, with good awareness of current educational priorities in relation to the Division of Medicine and Division of Unscheduled Care
- have extensive experience at Band 5 or above in posts which included supporting supervising and assessing learners and should be a current Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor
The applicant will be required to work closely with, and be supported by, the senior Practice Education Team.
