An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dynamic Quality Improvement (QI) team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for QI to focus on supporting the development of a QI framework specifically for medical education (ME) and training in line with GMC standards. The QI Advisor (ME) will directly support the team responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate ME within NHS Ayrshire and Arran (NHSAA).
The purpose of this post is to support and enable the department of ME and senior management team to improve undergraduate and post graduate QI education within NHSAA. You will be accountable to the Director of Medical Education and report to the QI Lead (acute services). We ask that you can bring and contribute QI expertise in order to influence change, through the delivery of improvement knowledge and expertise gained at expert level QI qualification.
You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to operate within a demanding and diverse environment and you will be required to develop effective working relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to implement successful QI education and improvement processes.
