We are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to join our growing team! The Administrative Assistant will provide superior customer service to all Nickel City customers and staff with the goal of surpassing everyone’s expectations. The Administrative Assistant will welcome and direct clients to the appropriate staff, whether by phone or in person and will support Nickel City staff with clerical duties outlined below.

This is a highly service-orientated position and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. This includes interacting with clients on a day-to-day basis in an unlicensed role. There are opportunities to become RIBO licensed and for career advancement with the role.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming clients either in person or on the phone and directing insureds and prospects to the appropriate staff,
• Managing leads worksheets and reporting to Management weekly,
• Support management team as required,
• Run Loss history reports, MVR’s and Drivers Abstracts,
• Prepare courier shipments and open and distribute inbound shipments/mail,
• Document management in online system (EPIC)
• Maintain a professional working relationship with Nickel City staff and clients,
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean work areas,
• Cleaning the office and bathrooms,
• Other administrative functions such as printing, scanning, faxing, and so on.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma is required,
• 2-year post-secondary college degree in business is preferred but not required,
• 1 year experience in a similar type of role is preferred but not required,
• Experience in insurance is a bonus.
