The AMP Technology Team continually delivers and maintains Nine’s digital products, including: smh.com.au, theage.com.au and afr.com.au across multiple platforms and systems. Software Engineers are responsible for the design, development, and delivery of products and services that delight our customers, and grow the business.

As a Junior Software Engineer you will work with our business and technology stakeholders to bring ideas to life. You will build high quality, scalable solutions, and share your best practice software design and development skills with other engineers to grow the capabilities of the team. Our team’s tech stack includes Golang, C/C++, Python, React Native, Node.js, and AngularJS.

Your days will include:

• Designing and developing high-quality, scalable and performant solutions
• Collaborate with Product Platforms, Online Hosting, Architecture, Security, and others to design, develop, and launch new products and services.
• Be a technical go-to person for business and technology stakeholders in your area.

To secure an interview your application should demonstrate

• Passion for delivering delightful, complex, digital products.
• Strong experience in Java, HTML and CSS
• Working across varied stakeholder groups
