NOKIA Hiring for Support Technician at Sunnyvale, CA Full Time
The NI Routing group designs, builds and tests ultra-high speed (Terabit) digital networking equipment. This position is to provide general and logistical support in the HW Development and Test Labs, esp in the area of network testing.
This is an entry level position for the general support of the day-to-day activity in a high paced Hardware Development environment.
Qualified candidates will be required to:
Work closely with engineers and act on instructions independently to facilitie the test process.
Setup and configure networks for test purposes. (Moving chassis in and out of test chamber, installing PCBs into chassis, running cables etc…
Maintain and organize lab inventory and equipment including prototype PCBs and test/measurement equipment.
Manage the “Golden Corral” i.e. inventory of older cards used to verify regression testing and backwards compatibility with new designs.
Supply general support of any nature to keep the lab and product development process running smoothly.
