Nomi Network Hiring for Global Programs Coordinator at Remote Full Time

Who we are

Nomi Network is a Non-Profit Organization with the mission to end human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women, and girls to break cycles of slavery in their families and communities.

We provide training and job opportunities for survivors and women at risk of human trafficking and enhance their ability to become financially independent. We achieve that by implementing our Workforce Development Program in collaboration with the public, government, civil society, and private sectors. Our programming is based in the US (Dallas), India, and Cambodia.

Position Description

The Global Programs Coordinator will have the opportunity to support our mission-driven domestic and international programs (currently based out of Dallas, Cambodia, and India), focusing on administrative tasks and projects as well as internal and external program-related communications.

• Location: Remote
• Position status: Full time, non-exempt
• Reports to: VP of Global Operations
• Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/wk. May participate in meetings outside of 9-5 hours due to time zone differences

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedules meetings and appointments as requested
• Keep and maintain meeting notes
• Support with international and domestic travel planning/booking, submitting receipts and managing reimbursements
• Assist with programming-related needs, such as purchasing items and coordinating internal events
• Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
• Conduct research and summarize results upon request
• Help to populate and create event/program-related communications, using templates or free-form
• Create and/or maintain an electronic filing system
• Assist in the planning and oversight of assigned projects and events
• Act as a liaison between different departments
• Assist with tracking spend/receipts and other budget-related items as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree
• Previous administrative or similar experience
• Proven ability to learn new software technologies
• Proven ability to edit and produce professional, aesthetically appropriate written content on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience working with Google suite tools

Physical Requirements

• The position functions in a normal office environment that requires the ability to successfully interface with a computer
• Sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally climbing stairs are typical activities in this role
• Talking (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word) and hearing (perceiving the nature of sounds) are required
• Clarity of vision (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print) is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
