We are an independent small-scale retail business operating 5 Mobil petrol stations in Hamilton and Te Awamutu. We conduct our business 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Our staffing structure consists of store managers, sales associates, and administration staff.
We are looking for a retail professional with wide availability and flexibility to join our team taking responsibility for the successful running of stores. Reporting to the Operators you will have a reputation for high standards on presentation and performance, combined with your strong personal values of honesty, reliability, dedicated customer service and staff management. You will assist the Operators in all aspects of center operations ensuring the team delivers outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for 7-day operation of the business ensuring the compliance of the minimum standards of responsibilities and accountabilities in site operational areas of the business. This will require action in all the main areas of site retail activity: – Safety; Legal; Site Presentation; Site Administration; Merchandising; Customers & Staff; Shop Sales; Stock Management. You need to maintain systems and procedures, and understand company protocols. The role will suit an enthusiastic and committed senior candidate, with a good balance of warmth and professionalism, which will require you to be pro-active and highly organised, someone who is able to work hard, enjoy the work they do and is a team player. You must be able to work as part of the team, demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, and be able to prioritise and build great relationships both internally and externally.
This is a full-time position, required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week – including weekends and public holidays. The employee will be expected to be accommodating to the working hours of the stores and is expected to work when rostered on. You will be required to work at any of our 5 retail outlets.
