As our Director of Sales, you will be playing a critical role in guiding the company to achieve our growth goals, establishing and nurturing partnerships at our key accounts and laying the building blocks for the long term success of the nomz sales team.

A Day In The Life: Director of Sales

• Design and execute on channel and distribution strategies for both Canada and USA
• Lead the nomz team in developing the annual sales & promotional plan/budget by customer, category, and SKU and be accountable for the integrity of the plans that are put forward
• Support the launch execution and the development of assigned Strategic Accounts in Canada & USA while actively managing brokers and distributors in regards to both achievement and costs
• Lead the expansion and management of existing strategic accounts to ensure fully executed sales plans are achieved, goals are exceeded, and partnership plans are in place that align with the overall strategic plan
• Identify and secure new customers and channels (food service, convenience & distributors to support etc.)
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts that allow us to have a deepened relationship and partnership that is mutually beneficial
• Meets (& exceed) targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts 
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
• Proactively lead strategic account planning process that includes key account promotions within Regional retailers & Priority A accounts. 
• Develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones that supports launch, development and long term partnerships 
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Participate in regular market visits and actively engage with key customers.
• Identify, recruit, and retain a balanced and diverse team based on member/candidate strengths and role fit supported by relevant knowledge, skills, and experience
• Continuously work with team members to understand the day to day business while influencing key strategic decisions

You have:

• 4+ years experience in the CPG, Natural Health Food Industry with leadership experience
• Experience working within better for you snacking or confection an asset
• 4+ years of key account management in Canada and / or USA
• Experience managing distributor and/or broker relationships
• 4+ years team development and leadership experience
• Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Standout interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Experience working remotely 
• Love to be organized and are good with managing a lot of details
• Home-office based role
