Norco, Inc Hiring for Medical Gas Inspector / Cryogenic Services Technician at Nampa, Idaho Full Time

Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview._* (/Applies to full-time direct new hires only)/* Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Cryo Services Technician / Medical Gas Inspector / Maintenance position. The Cryo Services Technician / Medical Gas Inspector is responsible for performing Medical Gas Verification in accordance with ASSE 6030, and NFPA 99. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Perform Annual inspections at customer locations (Hospitals, Clinics) of Medical Gas Systems, including all Medical Gases * Periodic maintenance at customer locations (Hospitals, clinics etc.) This includes testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Medical Gas Source systems – Vacuum Pumps, Medical Air Compressors, Med Air dryers, Medical Gas manifolds, Medical Gas Alarms * Perform calibration of gauges, thermometers, and flowmeters at Norco production facilities and customer sites * Perform annual inspections that include hospitals, metalworking shops, cylinder fill plants, mines, food manufacturing plants, etc. * Perform site surveys of potential customers for compliance with specifications * Regular travel in Norco service truck that may include being out of home base up to 4 nights per week, as needed * Maintain work area in a neat and clean manner * Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary * ASSE 6030 Verifier License or verifiable years working in the medical gas field and willing to go towards a credential * Brazing certification or ability/willingness to obtain * Valid drivers license * MSHA card or ability/willingness to obtain * State licenses as required * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to stand, squat, or kneel for extended periods of time * Ability to work with hand tools and other mechanical equipment * Mechanical aptitude with desire to learn the business * Ability to troubleshoot systems with phone support and product manuals * Previous knowledge of cylinders and gases is helpful Norco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including: * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Health, Vision and Dental Insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Medical and Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA) * Life Insurance provided at no cost to employee by Norco through United Heritage * Supplemental Accident, Disease, and Life Insurance through Colonial Life Insurance * Employee Tuition Reimbursement * 401(k) with Employer Matching * Wellness Program * Employee Discount on products sold by Norco Norco, Inc is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
