Adult Social Services, Commissioning – Brokerage Service
£10.59 to £11.46 per hour (Scale E)
37 hours per week
6 month initial period, with potential extension (immediate start required, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks)
We currently have an opportunity through our temporary staff bank for a Contracts Officer within the Brokerage Service, a highly professional operation within Adult Social Services, that aims to source care and complete contracts for Norfolk’s adults.
The arranging of care plays a pivotal role in Adult Social Care, and with an ageing population, this has never been more important.
This is an exciting phase within the Brokerage Service, and to help us deliver a high-quality service we are looking to recruit professional, hard-working, personable and organised individuals. Ensuring a high level of accuracy, while delivering contractual care and support that meets an individual’s needs.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality Customer Service, while delivering against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You will be responsible for contractual quality control, interpreting data, managing complex issues, while enabling providers to invoice within given timescales.
If customer service is your passion and you have delivered high quality customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Knowledge of Social Services would be an advantage.
We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our work spaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working (splitting your working time between one or more work places and agreed remote working location(s) like your home) a key feature for many roles.
Our technology platform and equipment is first class enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity. Interviews will take place via video technology, where you will have the opportunity to discuss working arrangements.
Closing date: 11 May 2022
Please note that, due to the urgency of this requirement, we will be assessing applications as soon as they are received and may therefore need to close the advert sooner than the closing date above.
