North Shore Prosthodontics Looking for Dental Assistant and receptionist at Takapuna, Auckland Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist to help our Prosthodontist and hygienist. This is a unique opportunity in a Specialist dental practice on the North Shore to replace one of our assistants who is in the process of registering as a dentist.

Prosthodontics involves dentures, restorations, veneers, crowns, bridges and implants. The position offers a variety of work within and outside the scope of general dentistry and will provide fantastic job satisfaction.

About the role:

• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
• Manage sterilisation and infection control tasks
• Coordinate and follow patient care
• Reception duties and arranging patient appointments

About you:

• Experience in providing dental chair-side assistance
• Certificate in Dental Assisting would be advantageous
• Professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
• To be organised, tidy and efficient
• Computer literate with typing skills
• Flexible, motivated and task orientated

Hours

• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8.15 am – 5.30 pm
• Thursday 8.15 am – 6.30 pm
• Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm
