We are currently looking for PLUMBERS to join our long-term construction project in Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

Job Description

• Read plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the design of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
• Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing systems and accessories
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and wall and floor fittings
• Cutting and cutting on walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
• Measuring, cutting, bending and connecting pipes with manual and electrical tools or machines
• Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or welding equipment
• Checking pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Other tasks assigned by the Team Leader

Required Qualifications

• Basic level of English with the ability to understand basic plumber terminology
• Work experience 12 to 24 months minimum
• Plumbing Certification Studies
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Construction experience is generally considered an asset
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards is desirable
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe weightlifting and handling procedures is an asset

• Familiarity with hand tools and drywall, and construction tools

• Able to follow directions and ask when unsure
• Willing to learn and have an “I can do it” attitude
• Must be able to stand 10-12 hours/day
• Use proper lifting techniques for items weighing more than 25 kilograms
