Enterprise Services (ES), is the shared services sector for Northrop Grumman. The function of ES is to provide multiple and varied solutions and services in the areas of: information technology, security, payroll, facilities, and other shared functions across the entire enterprise. The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) Sector is seeking an Information Systems Project Manager at the Principal or Senior Principal level to join our team supporting our Aeronautics Sector. This role will report to the Air Dominance Director but will take day to day direction from the ASBU ESPM and located in our Clearfield, UT office.
This role may require travel of at least 10%. After hours and weekend work will be required.
Responsibilities for Principal or Senior Principal Project Manager are:
Serve as a Project Manager in support of the Aeronautics Sector with oversight for all projects and their requirements
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Project Management to both Program Managers and their customers and teams
Act as the customer liaison between sector customers and project/program leadership
Manage all scheduling for a single project, change management, risk management, and cost
management requirements for assigned project(s)
Own any optimization, or other remediation work assigned by the program manager
Execute any ad hoc duties as assigned
Provide leadership oversight for all projects and their requirements
Own the Earned Value Management requirements for each project
Manage integrated master schedule for the project portfolio
Brief difficult technical solutions in a layman style to senior leaders within customer and program leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for the Principal Level; or Master’s degree with 3 years relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience; or Master’s degree and 5 years relevant experience for the Senior Principal Level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Power Point, and Excel.
Experience leading project assignments
Problem solving with the integrated team including but not limited to the program manager, functional managers, and customers
US Citizenship is required for this position as well as the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance following hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Full Cycle experience working IT infrastructure projects
PMP Certifications
Agile and/or Scrum Certification
Active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access preferred
Salary Range: $101,400.00 – $152,200.00Salary Range 2: $125,800.00 – $188,600.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
