Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Manager 3 . This position will be located in Promontory, Utah.
In this role, you will:
Report to the Director of Infrastructure
Manage trades performing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, high voltage power lines, equipment and vehicle maintenance on duty 24/7/365.
Works closely with and/or provides advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facilities infrastructure and equipment maintenance.
Ensures preventative maintenance is completed for facilities infrastructure assets.
Supervises subordinate manager, maintenance leads, employees and/or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and infrastructure and equipment via the following trades: electrical, mechanical air-conditioning, heating, electronics, HVAC mechanics, equipment controls programming, remote monitoring systems and/or other related trades.
Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Supervises employees who specify and prepare statements of work to maintain, repair, upgrade and replace facilities infrastructure assets.
Administers or coordinates with personnel who administer maintenance and repair contracts and purchase spare parts.
Accountable for maintenance metrics to include operational availability.
Represents Facilities maintenance organization in site and program functional coordination meetings.
Develops requirements and administers budgets, schedules and standards of performance for maintenance.
Responsible for all actions assigned to the organizational unit.
Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
Acts as an advisor to staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical and operational problems.
Utilizes Maximo computerized maintenance management system to schedule, track and report on infrastructure maintenance, service requests/work orders and trouble calls.
Perform functional responsibilities related to day to day management including performance management, career development, and engagement strategy execution
Suggests and executes capital projects
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of work experience with 7 years of leadership experience working in facility operations or other business-related field
Electrical experience
Experience in facilities and equipment maintenance
Experience establishing and tracking performance metrics
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Experience managing teams and achieving organization objectives, goals, metrics, targets
Ability to receive, interpret, and relay information, both written and verbally, in a concise and effective manner across various levels of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Business related field
Electrical license
Familiar with energetic manufacturing, lab, warehouse, manufacturing/production equipment and facilities infrastructure
Experienced using Maximo and/or other maintenance management system to schedule and track facilities maintenance
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Salary Range: $110,900.00 – $166,300.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
