Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics and Product Support SME. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the GBSD program.
What you’ll get to do:
Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of Training projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of ICBM Logistics and Product Support and related Training. Provides technical and analytical guidance to the Support Systems team.
• Supports development of specifications, design, interface control and production of training systems including courseware and devices.
• Provides vision, execution planning, technical and resource guidance for Missile Wing training interoperability, including Operations, Maintenance, Security Forces, Cyber and Integrated Command Center (ICC) training and mission rehearsal.
• Synthesizes diverse perspectives and logistics for all mission areas, including ancillary weapon system components/specialty functions of the planned GBSD wing, assuring all functional mission areas are represented in training approach
• Serves as senior subject matter expert for ICBM Logistics and Product support training throughout EMD and Deployment phases, including current advances and technology development in training conduct, mission integration, and training administration.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams and cross-functional support to other GBSD IPTs.
• Leads, supports, and coordinates interactions with senior external customers and suppliers on related technical matters.
• Develops, reviews and approves GBSD training content, including a focus on Logistics and Product Support.
• Provides requirements analysis and design inputs to collaborative training scenarios focused on GBSD wing logistics areas outside traditional independent operations, security and maintenance functions.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
• 9 Years with Bachelors; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. May be able to use additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Extensive expertise with AFGSC operations and maintenance training processes, and Officer and Enlisted Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC).
• Understanding of training facilities, devices, and courseware related to the current MMIII ICBM mission, especially relating to Launch Facilities, and supporting wing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AFGSC and AETC standardization & evaluation processes.
• Understanding of AFGSC use Patriot Excalibur (PEX) use and ability to develop requirements for GBSD Training Management Systems
• Expertise working with training systems, simulators, instruction in classroom and interactive environments.
• Expertise in how training metrics and feedback are used to drive positional evaluation and certification processes IAW applicable AFGSC Instructions.
• Familiarity with advanced learning technologies, methods, processes, and tools.
• Experience planning and implementing training and evaluation programs
• Active Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility (within the last 5 years).
• Must be able to obtain Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
• ICBM Maintenance training expertise (certified MMIII maintenance instructor or evaluator.
• Hands-on field experience related to ICBM maintenance in current Minuteman III Launch Facilities.
• Recent experience (within last 5 years is preferred).
• Experience applying new advanced learning technologies, methods, processes and tools
• Experience planning and implementing training programs for weapons systems.
• Depth of knowledge related to ICBM maintenance training with demonstrated knowledge of the AFGSC series of instructions.
• Training curriculum and learning management planning experience.
• Experience with Minuteman III Wing Operations Center standup applicable to the GBSD Integrated Command Center (ICC) CONOPS.
• Familiarity with ICBM training initiatives developed during AFGSC Force Improvement Program (FIP) and integration of ICBM Weapons Instructor Course (WIC).
• Knowledge of both AFGSC and AETC approaches to ICBM maintenance training.
Salary Range: $108,600.00 – $163,000.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
