Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Operations Support Security Coordinator 3 to join our team of talented and diverse individuals at our Dulles, VA location.

In this position you will work closely with senior executives, customers, and government representatives, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations/customers; the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality; and the ability to execute tasks and projects independently. To be successful you must be an exceptional team player, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must provide excellent follow-through, exercise good judgment, demonstrate flexibility and agility, manage schedule conflicts and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets. Assisting our customers with administrative tasks as necessary which includes but is not limited to the following: managing support mailboxes, security Q&A’s, weekly action reports, developing security education messages, and meeting coordination/support.

This individual will also provide support to the security operations team that handles standardization of policies and procedures, inspection/compliance support activities, internal review teams, personnel security, and secure facility setup activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related administrative, clerical or security experience.
• Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years.
• Organized and efficient at time management.
• Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc…)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• SharePoint experience.
• Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications .

Salary Range: $47,600 USD – $79,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
