Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Sr. Principal Level Software Development Analyst to lead a technical team for the implementation and support of Unison’s Contract Lifecycle Management System (CMS). This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead all technical components of NG’s implementation of Unison’s Contract Lifecycle Management System (CMS).
Point Of Contact to vendor for all maintenance and recurring technical issues related to CMS.
Reviews NG Ticketing Logs daily and works with Unison Technical Support team to resolve tickets.
Responsible for Software Upgrades: Review vendor Release Notes, Coordinate with vendor to perform UAT Testing, work with Super Users to perform sector testing, Installation of new software releases into NG CMS environment
Actively lead and participate in the development/maintenance of macro enabled spreadsheets.
Responsible for receiving updates from vendor each month and installing into NG CMS environment.
Actively participate in the full software development cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and implementation).
Collaborate with other team members and business partners to drive process and system improvements.
Create and maintain technical specifications.
Provide technical input to support project planning and estimation process.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 9 years of relevant experience with BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline; 7 years with a Masters degree
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
At least 4 or more years of experience in leading technical teams and projects.
Possess in-depth proficiency working in windows server environment hosting IIS web servers.
Knowledge of Contracts business processes.
Possess in-depth proficiency with VBA, Excel and Macros.
Must have great attention to detail and be able to successfully manage competing priorities.
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
Ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities
Self-motivated, desire to continuously learn and drive to contribute to a high-performing team.
Strong technical/analytical skills and provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with windows server (W2016 or higher), some light system administration duties required to support application maintenance, outages, upgrades, server level and SSO certificate updates across windows server landscape. Familiarity with windows server administration tools (component services, IIS web server configuration, Event Viewer, CERTMGR).
Basic understanding of application load balancers (preferably AWS).
Experience in using or supporting Unison’s Contract Lifecycle Management System.
Experience or understanding of integration technologies such as API, REST, SOAP, and XML.
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
Participated in agile-driving development using Scrum and/or Kanban Boards.
Experience with or knowledge in software development process using other languages (C++, C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Salary Range: $114,300.00 – $171,500.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
