Job Description
Performs clerical functions necessary to organize, maintain and use of patient medical record.
- Obtains requested charts. Locates and provides individual patient records and sets of records, as required.
- Delivers charts to patient floors and the emergency room, as needed.
- Staples, sorts and files completed charts. Sorts and files loose lab reports.
- Checks charts into and out of department using tracking system.
- Performs related duties as required.
- ADA Essential Functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Working knowledge of computer, photocopy machine, fax machine and printer, required.
- Customer service and organizational skills, required.
