Notre Dame Seafoods Inc. (NDS) requires a highly skilled and qualified individual to fill a key position within its Accounting/Administration team. NDS operates a seafood processing facility located at Comfort Cove, NL, providing employment to more than 150 people, with its head office in St. John’s, NL.

Accounts Receivable Administrator (Seasonal)

This is a seasonal position based in Comfort Cove, NL, and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and the General Manager.

The individual will have primary responsibility for all accounts receivable requirements. Key responsibilities will include invoicing of all finished product (FP) sales, reconciliation of FP sales by species & customer, maintenance of Production Reports for each species, tracking of FP inventory, invoicing of all raw material (RM) transfers, reconciliation of RM transfers, tracking of RM purchases by species, preparation of FP shipping documents, responding to customer inquiries and assisting the General Manager with other reporting requirements.

Applicants for this position should have a strong accounting background supported by a diploma in Business/Accounting, have a good working knowledge accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and have a minimum of two (2) years experience in an accounting support role. Previous experience in the seafood industry would be an asset, but is not essential.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
