Nourish Pet Care Hiring for Cat Boarding / Pet Store Retail Receptionist Job at Houston, TX Full Time

We are located in the Memorial area of Houston, TX at I-10 and Chimney Rock at 7951 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024
We are a pet store in Houston focused on Cat only boarding and natural pet foods. Currently we have a Reception position available. The position is scheduled morning and afternoons. The Associate will assist customers as cashier, answer phones and process cat boarding reservations. Must be comfortable handling cats during the check in and cleaning process. The team member will also feed, maintain litter boxes and rotate kitties for photos and playtime. This is a hands-on position with opportunity to grow.
Experience with Customer Service, Hotel Front Desk, Cashier and Receptionist are encouraged to apply. Must love cats!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility is working in the cat boarding area and retail store. The Associate will help customer’s as a cashier, answer phones and online orders to include local deliveries. Additionally, the Associate will process all Cat Boarding reservations and vaccines. The secondary responsibility assist in maximizing the store’s cleanliness and organization.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must love cats! The sassy one’s too
Comfortable with Point of Sale computer and answering the phone
Self motivated as to work with minimal supervision after training
An outgoing personality is a major plus!
Desire to advance within the work environment

Salary: $14.50 – $15.50 per hour
