Our Customer Care team is looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused person to join their team in Whakatane.
About the role
Reporting into the Call Centre Team Leader, you will be our primary point of contact for all Nova Energy customers, taking inbound calls and emails. You will be responsible for helping customers resolve a wide range of queries and have quality conversations while making the complex easy to understand.
Other key tasks:
- Manage calls and complete customer requests
- Identify customer needs, taking ownership of customer request to completion
- Recommend process improvements that will positively impact a customer’s service experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Customer service experience, whether that’s retail, reception, contact centres, or hospitality
- Ability to take ownership of customer requests and carry it through until closed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- A professional, positive attitude and a strong customer focus.
- Be solutions focused and have excellent problem-solving skills
We are currently recruiting for the following:
- Full time positions, 40 hours per week, on a rotating roster between the hours of 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
- Job share positions, 20 hours per week on a rotating roster between the hours of 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
- Part time positions, any hours between 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday

Our Customer Care team in Whakatane currently consists of the Call Centre Team Leader and 10 agents.
