Novant Health Hiring for Vice President, Community Engagement at Winston-Salem, NC Full Time

Overview:
The Vice President, Community Engagement is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of projects related to Novant Health’s commitment to the community. Establishes and implements comprehensive strategic plans that include public relations, event planning and developing collaborative relationships with community partners, healthcare professionals, government agencies and elected officials within the communities we serve. Coordinates aligning internal and external partners- traditional, non-traditional and emerging, translating the needs of the community related to both social determinants of health and health and human services into health system strategic initiatives. This position provides leadership and management of Novant Health’s involvement in programs that support the organization’s vision. The VP will coordinate closely with leadership to develop and implement an external outreach strategy in alignment with business goals. Additionally, this position will create and manage mutually-beneficial partnerships with external stakeholders and nonprofit partners to further business objectives. In collaboration with leadership, VP of Community Engagement is responsible for leading Social Responsibility, Community Wellness, Community Benefit, Partnerships and Sponsorships. Community Engagement ensures Novant Health’s reputation is strengthened through proactive, intentional, and strategic social responsibility programs, community benefit and wellness programs and community partnerships.

Qualifications:
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required. Graduate Degree in business administration, philanthropy, required.

Experience: 10 Years experience in Management Experience in foundation, corporate social responsibility, communications, or community relations work (healthcare preferred), required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I Required. Completion of NAI program, required. Medication Safety – AME, required.
