The Field Medical Strategic Operations Manager will provide strategic operational expertise, management, and support of key field medical systems including Veeva CRM and Vault platforms. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Responsible for medical Veeva Vault-CRM Administration, including collaboration with commercial Veeva CRM leads, the external Veeva organization, and global Veeva CRM colleagues. * Ensures new hires are adequately instructed and trained on Veeva CRM and other related Veeva Products such as Veeva Engage, MTE, and Vault. * Serves as a single point of escalation for all Veeva back-end systems and processes such as Account Create Requests (ACRs), Physician Account Inquiry (PAI) and data discrepancies between Veeva front-end user interface and back-end systems. * Provides strategic, operational, and communications support to the field medical teams by orchestrating all business functional tasks and requirement gathering for all FME systems. * Partners with Digital Medical Affairs on new implementation and support of new innovative technology solutions. * Serves as a business consultant for Field Medical Leadership Team to ensure that business needs are met by brainstorming and aligning on the right solutions that may include enhancements and reports development. * Manages and oversees the Field Medical TT FOCUS and MSL Champions groups to provide best practices to the Field Medical team. * Leads continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps in current processes and / or necessary enhancements by reviewing evolving business needs, help desk trending issues, and adopting innovative thinking from MSL Champions and other business partners. * Coordinates the implementation of global systems and hardware upgrades with the Transforming Technologies (TT) Team. Serves as an escalation point for existing platforms and ensures an ongoing support platform * Organizes and executes new hire technology, application/platform, and resource training as well as continuous training for entire Field Medical team: developing QRGs and resources as well as any business rules. * Represents Medical interests within TT, Commercial, and Global Medical Affairs to ensure voice of IM US Field Medical colleagues is represented in all aspects of the technology implementation. * Ensures business continuity during business transformation by performing an impact analysis and gathering requirements for adoption. This position will be located at East Hanover, New Jersey and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Please note this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $124,000 and $186,000 annually; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
