Novecom is seeking a software developer to join our engineering team, working on the development of new IIoT products.
Tasks

Developing software as part of a mixed skillset engineering team working in the remote sensing technology space for mining and agricultural customers. The development work will mostly involve backend data processing services, embedded Linux software services, and basic Web/HTML/CSS/Javascript. It will include a mix of writing new software and maintaining existing software.

Writing/executing unit tests, integration tests and manual software tests.

Performing hands-on engineering investigations, analysis and assessments.

Performing peer reviews of source code and engage in collaborative development of software.

Participating in broader system design, integration, and verification activities of remote sensing and processing systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:

Demonstrated experienced in languages used, primarily Rust and Python with occasional Javascript and C/C++.

Experience with using source code version control, automated build/test tools, and network configuration concepts.

Strong awareness of good software engineering, cyber-security, and software ops principles.

Current drivers licence
