Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Responsible for providing all necessary financial support and developing appropriate analysis to support manufacturing units to meet OpEx and CapEx goals.
• Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the operating cost drivers to better support functional initiatives, build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to forecast and analyze operating results.
• Review and analyze actual results with Department Manager and assist in seeking improvement opportunities and defining corrective actions when necessary to ensure Berea accomplish operation goals.
• Lead in annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles, and work on continuous improvement on planning and forecasting processes to streamline these cycles to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Have sufficient knowledge and skills on product costing in SAP, and keep monitor production orders status and be able to flag and drive problem solving for product costing errors.
• Participate in the development and implementation of improvements in execution, actively lead/participate in cross-functional business projects and analysis.
• Assist other functions in new systems roll out and provide new systems related training, such as SAP, MES, etc.
• Load the monthly forecast and annual budget in SAP, and conduct monthly reconciliation process in Blackline to meet Corporate reporting requirements.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting, forecasting and analysis
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills in business performance measurements are required, extensive financial modeling experience.
• Ability to think independently, synthesize data and make proactive, concise recommendations based on findings
• Creative and innovative excellent teammate with a positive approach and a focus on business issues.
• Confirmed ability to build successful relationships with plant leadership and regional office personnel.
• Willingness to take on additional projects and multi-task with changing priorities, as necessary.
• Validated ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
• Flourishes with ability to work autonomously.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is a must and Access is plus.

With 140 employees the recycling facility processes approximately 20 percent of all aluminum cans recycled in the United States each year – more than 750 million pounds.
