The opportunity

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of Customer Information Applications for use by Sydney Trains customers and stakeholders. The role enables and contributes to the delivery of solutions completed internally and externally

• Perform assigned software development and support for Customer Information applications. This may be to create, enhance or maintain the applications.
• Support the development of release plans for the Customer Information Channels Unit to deliver final testing and implementation that meets business requirements.
• Support the development of documentation to ensure solutions meet user needs and business requirements.

About you

Acting as the technical support for a highly experienced development team, you have experience in developing software apps and a keen interest in leveraging off those around you to grow your skills. Knowledge of production release and SCRUM methodology is an advantage but not essential.

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent or demonstrated equivalent industry experience in development.

Salary and benefits

The salary for this position is RC5 ($106,653-$123,022) plus superannuation and leave loading.
