The opportunity

Join the apps team at Sydney Trains to support the delivery of systems and product solutions across our Customer Information applications.

This broad Fullstack Developer role will give you the opportunity to create, enhance and maintain the apps. As well as:

• Monitor diagnostic and monitoring tools to manage customer information and undertake business critical development and enhancement work to deliver solutions that incorporate improved features.
• Monitor and support the delivery of projects to ensure system developments and enhancements adhere to Sydney Trains enterprise architecture standards whilst maintaining compliance with project, financial, risk, and change management policies and requirements.

About you

You will be a passionate Full Stack developer who loves learning new tech and being part of a team that values culture and results. You’ll have Java experience and some exposure to Frontend development too (or be willing to learn)

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent or demonstrated equivalent industry experience

Desirable (but not a must)

• Java 8+. Angular or AngularJS, Typescript, Javascript, SCSS (or CSS), Spring, Rest/SOAP Web Services, JMS, Oracle, SQL, Spring Data JPA, Git, Docker, AWS EKS, Devops, CI/CD

Salary and benefits

The salary for this position is RC6 ($127,599-$141,442) plus superannuation and leave loading.
