Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Process Control Engineer is to work with the Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and Production teams to maintain and optimize the Mill processes. This will include using engineering principles, algorithms and techniques to trouble-shoot and improve both the process and equipment and to develop/implement future improvement plans. This will include both hardware and software and will likely require additional support outside normal business hours. The Process Control Engineer must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and must be able to meet all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations. Minimum Requirements:
Process, Electrical, Automation or equivalent Engineering Degree
Ability to rapidly understand complex control systems.
Proficient at several programing languages included but not limited to VB, C, C+, C++, C#
Must have the ability to manage, maintain, and edit large databases.
Proficient at: GE, Allen Bradley, and Siemens PLCs.
Proficient at: In Touch Wonderware, Factory Talk View, and Cimplicity HMIs.

Preferences:
Knowledge of communication protocols like DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IP, and, Modbus.
Knowledge of Virtual Machines, MSSQL Servers, and ORACLE.
Knowledge of Web Development using HTML/JavaScript/PHP.
Knowledge of QMOS MES.
