Nutrisystem, Inc. Looking for Front End Web Developer at Fort Washington, PA Full Time

*Nutrisystem is on a hybrid schedule. We are in-office Tuesday-Thursday and remote on Monday and Friday each week*

Position Summary:

Front End Web Developers develop the web front-end code for Nutrisystem e-Commerce sites using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, supporting the Jenny Craig brand. Work closely with the online creative team and development team to collaborate, build, test and deliver high quality assets. Projects will vary in size and scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Code HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX from visual designs created in Figma, Adobe Photoshop/ XD, while keeping the integrity of the design
• Code HTML/CSS/JavaScript to make modifications on current pages using content items in the CMS (Laravel)
• Code new responsive landing pages, new web flows, microsites
• Code responsive emails
• Interacting with visual designers, project managers and programmers to ensure the initial design, functionality, layout, theme and creative elements of the designs, project and site are adhered to.
• Deliver code to the site management team and development team that is cross-browser and cross-platform compatible (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer on Mac and PC)
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability (image and code optimization)
• Share knowledge with developers/designers and create technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor of Science, equivalent degree in visual arts/multimedia design or related field
• Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 & CSS3
• Strong understanding of client-side scripting (JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX)
• Working knowledge of Bootstrap toolkit and responsive web development
• Working knowledge of code versioning tools.
• Ability to learn and adapt new environment/process/programming
• Working knowledge of CMS
• Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop/XD (Must be able to slice images and grab text from Figma and Photoshop/XD).
• Ability to work for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues.
• Working knowledge of Web accessibility guidelines.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts and internet production best practices
• Outstanding ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet hard deadlines
• High-energy and a passion for doing great work
• Strong attention to detail & organized
• Strong writing and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience maintaining a professional work ethic and attitude, while supporting and encouraging an enjoyable work environment

• Social Media knowledge
• Familiarity with JavaScript Frameworks (Vue.js, Angular JS, React JS etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of PHP is plus
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and to work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with collaborative tools (JIRA and Confluence)
